Lydia T. Black 1925 to 2007

2007 March 12 · Leave a Comment

I just received notice my friend and guide, Dr. Lydia T. Black, an anthropologist whose research restored to Alaskan peoples important features of their history and culture, has died early this morning in Kodiak, AK, with family, friends, and Orthodox services present. She was 81. We’ve suffered a great loss.
