I mentioned our wood frogs earlier and linked to the research on Alaska frogs. The neighbor kids today brought round an analog frog (not just the aural frog) in a 6-inch diameter berry bucket to show me. The two girls are friends, one six and one four. The four-year old quickly figured out a better lighting for the frog’s photo after I tried various ways to get rid of the reflected sky. (set bucket on floor)
I suggested frog needs to go to a good pond so he/she can freeze solid for winter. Maybe we can do a field trip.
